After binding the USB drive, choose Create vault and enter a name plus matching passwords of at least 10 characters. The folder defaults to Name.pvv, with a number added if needed. Random naming is optional. The default folder name is visible before unlock; file names and contents inside are encrypted. Record the offline recovery key separately. Create confirmation now includes the vault authorization, without the old duplicate write-permission popup.绑定外接盘后选择“新建保险库”，填写库名及两次一致的至少 10 位密码。默认创建“库名.pvv”文件夹，重名自动加序号；可选随机文件夹名隐藏库名。默认文件夹名在解锁前可见，库内文件名称和内容仍加密。记录离线恢复密钥并与库分开保管。新建确认已包含当前库授权，不会再弹旧版重复写入授权框。

The latest local MSIX patch centers its system-native password dialog on the current app window. Choose an existing vault on the original selector, or enter its complete .pvv folder path on the bound USB, then unlock. Check the target path shown by the password dialog. Select the whole vault folder, not an individual .pvo object. Both products share the vault format; PrivacyCut can select a PrivatyVault vault. First place files on the bound external drive yourself. Import them in the vault or drag actual files into the list. The app creates encrypted copies in the current vault; it does not move, delete, rewrite or change attributes/permissions of originals. Their original path remains available. Outside originals remain plaintext. After checking the encrypted copy and keeping an independent backup, you decide whether to remove the originals.先自行把要导入的文件放到绑定外接盘，再在库内选择导入，或拖入实际文件。软件在当前库生成加密副本，库外原文件不移动、不删除、不改写，也不擅自修改其属性和权限。导入后可查看原路径。库外原件仍是明文；确认加密副本可正常读取并做好独立备份后，是否移除原件由用户决定。

Drop actual files from outside the vault on the bound USB into the middle All files list. There is no separate overlay covering the toolbar. Successful imports are categorized by format; originals remain. Internal-drive files, folders, virtual ZIP items and dragged web images are not accepted. If the cursor shows prohibited, check the actual file location and bound folder. Use Import as a fallback and report only the version and non-sensitive error text.把绑定外接盘上、库外的实际文件拖入“全部”页面中间的素材列表。无需另一个遮挡按钮的接收区。导入成功后自动按格式归类；原件保留。不接受本机盘文件、文件夹、ZIP 内虚拟文件或网页拖出的图片。若出现禁止符号，先核对文件实际路径和软件绑定目录；仍失败时可用导入按钮，记录版本与非敏感错误文字反馈。

Open a photo, video, audio, PDF, document or other-file category and create a subfolder. Build a folder hierarchy and organize items with internal drag-and-drop or Move within the same category. Cross-category moves are restricted; dragging does not change a file type. These are logical folders in the encrypted catalog, not public original file names in Explorer.进入照片、视频、音频、PDF、文档或其他文件分类，再新建子文件夹。可在同类中创建层级目录，用库内拖拽或移动操作整理文件；跨分类移动会受限制，文件类别不会因拖动而改变。子文件夹是加密目录中的逻辑归档，不等于在资源管理器中公开原文件名。

Select a vault item and use Rename. The quick editor has a Copy name field before saving. Choose a different name if there is a conflict; existing items are not overwritten. Renaming changes the encrypted catalog, not the outside original. Saving an edited copy also keeps the original vault item.选择库内文件使用重命名。简单编辑页顶部“副本名称”允许在保存前自定义新名称；名称冲突会要求换名，不覆盖已有条目。改名属于库内加密目录管理，库外原件不会改名。保存编辑副本也不会覆盖库内原文件。

Deleted vault items go to Trash and can be restored. Empty folders also move to Trash. Emptying Trash or permanently deleting requires confirmation; a password or recovery key cannot recreate deleted file contents. Storage behavior, flash wear leveling and backups may retain traces: deletion is not a certified secure-erasure guarantee.删除库内素材先移入垃圾箱，可还原。空文件夹也移入垃圾箱，而不是因为其中有已删除条目而无法处理。清空垃圾箱或彻底删除需确认，之后不能依靠密码或恢复密钥重建文件。底层存储、闪存磨损均衡和备份可能保留数据痕迹；不要把删除等同于经过认证的介质安全擦除。

Encrypted storage accepts more formats than built-in preview. Common photos, video, audio, text and PDFs preview subject to local codec support. The preview has a bounded frame; text and file information scroll independently so available actions stay visible. DOCX/XLSX/PPTX preview shows text excerpts rather than original full layout; use the separate DOCX/XLSX basic editor when supported. Plain-text editing uses Edit text. The apps do not fetch codecs, launch Office/external players or execute macros. Open a photo in Quick edit. Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, highlights and shadows; basic looks include Original and Mono. Crop freely or to common ratios, rotate, mirror, flip, straighten and adjust perspective. Privacy tools include solid covers, pixelation and text annotation. Save a new encrypted photo copy in the current vault; keep the original. Open a video in Quick edit. Drag the preview scrubber to a time and adjust Start/End to retain a segment; Space toggles playback. Crop the picture, rotate, adjust color, add covers or pixelation, and mute. Save a new encrypted MP4 or WebM copy depending on local encoding support. Up to 1080p and a five-minute selection. Open an audio item in Quick edit. Adjust Start/End to trim, drag the playback position and use Space to play/pause. Volume ranges from -24 to +12 dB; bass and treble each range from -18 to +18 dB. Save a new encrypted WAV copy in the current vault, up to a five-minute selection. Edit TXT, MD, CSV, JSON, XML, SRT, VTT and LOG in the enlarged text window. Name and save a new encrypted copy; originals remain unchanged. CSV is edited as text, without spreadsheet calculation. DOCX/XLSX use the separate basic Word/Excel editor.支持 TXT、MD、CSV、JSON、XML、SRT、VTT、LOG 等纯文本内容编辑，可在“放大编辑文本”窗口输入、删除和修改。设置副本名后加密保存新副本，原件不动。CSV 按文本编辑，不进行表格计算。DOCX／XLSX 请使用独立的 Word／Excel 基础编辑入口。

DOCX basic editing opens a fixed A4 text-page view with navigation, zoom and Fit page. It reflows body/table text, rather than reproducing complex Office layout. Paragraph bold/italic/underline/alignment are supported; complex fields, revisions and embedded-object paragraphs stay read-only. Long documents show preparation progress and open the first editable page before indexing the rest; first-use font preparation may still take time. XLSX supports sheet/cell selection and text, numbers and basic formula entry. It does not calculate formulas; dates may be serial numbers and cached values may be stale. Protected sheets/shared or array formula ranges remain read-only. Save a custom-named encrypted copy; originals and untouched parts remain. Existing hidden content/metadata are not sanitized. Office, macros and external links are not launched/executed/fetched. Input: up to 32MB. Open a PDF in Quick edit in vault to redact black regions, highlight/annotate, rotate, reorder or delete pages. The current MSIX implementation removes the fixed 40-page redaction-editing cap. One page is previewed at a time, with direct page-number entry and at most seven nearby numbered buttons. Saving processes pages sequentially with progress and cancellation, then encrypts a custom-named copy in the current vault. Originals are unchanged. Saving rebuilds pages as images: underlying redacted content is omitted rather than covered with a removable rectangle. Searchable text, forms, links, attachments and digital signatures are not retained; file size can increase. No fixed page-count cap does not mean arbitrary scale: 64MB input, 250MB generated-copy and pixel/memory safeguards remain. Split the work when these protections are reached.PDF 分类中打开文件后进入库内简单编辑，可拖出黑色区域脱敏，增加高亮和文字标注，旋转、前后移动或删除页面。当前 MSIX 实现取消脱敏编辑的固定40页上限；每次只预览一页，可输入页码跳转，页码栏只生成附近最多7个页码按钮。保存按页处理并显示进度，可取消，成功后以自定义名称加密保存副本到当前库。原文件保留不变。保存会把页面重新渲染成图像，黑色区域下的原内容不会写入新PDF，不是可移走的遮挡矩形。副本不保留可搜索文字、表单、链接、附件或数字签名，文件可能变大。没有固定页数限制不代表任意规模：64MB输入、250MB生成副本及像素／内存保护仍保留，超出资源保护需分批处理。

In PDF Quick edit, rotate, reorder or delete pages, keeping at least one page. Save changes and redactions as a new encrypted PDF copy. The PDF tools also provide Convert / merge / split for merging PDFs in the current vault or extracting selected pages into individual or combined PDFs. Ordinary merging/splitting is not redaction. Full PDF layout editing and OCR are not supported.在 PDF 简单编辑中旋转页面、调整顺序或删除页面，至少保留一页；与脱敏一起保存为新的加密 PDF 副本，原文件不覆盖。PDF 工具提供“转换／合并／拆分”：合并当前库中的 PDF，或将指定页逐页拆分／合为一个 PDF。普通合并拆分不等于隐私脱敏。完整 PDF 排版和 OCR 尚不支持。

Select a PDF and choose PDF password protection. If it opens directly but restricts copying/editing/printing, leave Current password blank to create an unrestricted copy. If an actual opening password is required, a local masked prompt asks for the correct password before creating the copy. You can also set a new AES-256 opening password. This does not crack unknown strong opening passwords. PDF and vault passwords are separate; the new copy stays encrypted in the current vault and the original is preserved. Digital signatures may no longer validate. Removing restrictions or adding a password is not redaction and does not sanitize hidden content or attachments. PDF input limit: 64MB; output: 128MB. The planned MSIX edition supports PDF merging, page splitting/extraction, PDF-to-PNG, images-to-PDF, PDF-to-DOCX/XLSX and DOCX/XLSX/TXT/MD to basic content PDF/PNG. A bounded preview preserves page orientation and offers previous/next, page selection and zoom; compare extracted text with the source page. The fixed 40-page conversion cap and old 100-page merging cap are removed. Processing shows page progress. Resource safeguards remain: one to eight inputs, 64MB total, 128MB prepared output, and extracted text/cell memory budgets. Select smaller page ranges when these bounds are reached. The fixed 40-page redaction-editor cap is also removed; see the redaction guide. For garbled text or scans, select Local OCR with a corresponding installed Windows recognition language; verify text and amounts; click preview cells to correct them before saving. Excel columns are inferred from positions and complex tables can need correction. New copies stay encrypted in the current vault and follow the actual PDF/Photo/Document category; originals remain unchanged. Conversion and ordinary merging/splitting are not redaction. Office-to-PDF uses basic content layout, not exact complex formatting/charts/images; formulas are not calculated.PDF 工具提供 PDF合并、指定页拆分／提取、PDF转PNG、图片合为PDF、PDF转DOCX／XLSX，以及DOCX／XLSX／TXT／MD转基础内容PDF／PNG。预览窗口适配屏幕，按原页横竖方向显示，可翻页、跳页及缩放；文字提取结果可与原页对照。转换已取消固定40页上限和原合并100页限制，逐页处理并显示进度；仍保留1到8个输入、总64MB、准备输出128MB及提取文字／单元格内存保护，超限时缩小页码范围分批处理。PDF脱敏编辑器的固定40页限制也取消，详见PDF脱敏说明。文字乱码或扫描件可选本地OCR，需已安装对应Windows识别语言，文字和金额需自行核对，可直接点击预览单元格修正后保存。按文字坐标推断Excel行列，不保证复杂表格准确。副本默认加密存当前库，按结果格式归PDF、照片或文档；原件不变。转换／普通合并拆分不等于脱敏。Office转PDF为基础内容排版，不保证复杂样式、图表或图片，不计算公式。

Open a vault and select Backup location at the bottom. The picker is owned by and centered on the current app window. The workspace stays inactive during selection and becomes usable on cancel. It lists only directly attached USB folders without shell thumbnails, previews or recent-file lists. Choose outside vault/runtime directories on directly attached NTFS/exFAT USB storage; internal/network targets and fallback to internal storage are rejected. Safe exit saves, locks and closes content processes before a separate module updates the fixed backup for each vault opened this session. The content process gains no backup-target write access. The first run copies all ciphertext; later runs copy and verify changed files. Immutable media objects use size/time checks; mutable headers, catalogs and projects also compare hashes. Unchanged files are reused, not subjected to a new full-disk authentication scan. If everything is unchanged, copying is skipped and the existing backup is confirmed current. Update state stays on the external target; incomplete updates are not complete backups. Ordinary failures/cancellation roll back. After disconnection, keep .incomplete, .previous and .update.json, reconnect the original USB and retry recovery/finalization instead of deleting those records. Retry, a new destination or explicit skip are available. Ordinary window close does not run backup. First backups and substantial changes still take time; the fixed backup contains the latest state, not version history.打开库后，在底部选择“备份位置”。目录弹窗关联并居中于当前软件窗口，选择期间不能操作后面的操作台，取消后可以继续使用。只列直连外接盘文件夹，不调用系统缩略图、预览或最近文件列表。目标必须在库与运行目录之外的直连 NTFS/exFAT USB，不允许本机盘、网络路径或断盘后回退本机。安全退出先保存、锁定并关闭内容进程，再由独立模块更新本次运行中成功打开过的库的固定备份；素材进程不获得备份目标写权限。首次全量复制，之后仅复制并逐文件校验变化的密文。不可变素材对象按长度与修改时间快速检测，文件头、目录和工程等可变文件还比较哈希；未变化文件复用，不做每次全盘重读认证。全部未变化时跳过复制，确认现有备份仍是最新。更新临时状态保存在外接目标，未完成的更新不作为完整备份；普通失败／取消可回滚，断盘后保留 .incomplete、.previous、.update.json，接回原盘重试恢复／收尾，不要手动删除这些目录和记录。窗口允许重选、重试或明确跳过退出。普通窗口关闭不自动备份。首次或大批变化仍需时间；固定备份反映最近状态，不保留旧版本。

In the updated installed MSIX previews, nonempty vaults prompt after unlock when no backup is recorded or 7 days have passed since a successful backup/manual confirmation. Each vault prompts at most once per app session and the reminder is dismissible. A completed update, or confirming an unchanged backup is current, records the confirmation date. I made an offline backup records your confirmation only, not verification of a manual copy. Failure, cancellation and skipping do not refresh the date. Destinations and automatic success records live under .privacycut-private on the USB; removing that runtime directory resets these settings and requires choosing a location again, without deleting existing backups. Separate working copies have separate settings. Reminders cannot intercept Explorer deletion of the whole vault. Recovery keys still need separate safekeeping.已安装 MSIX 更新版对有素材的库，在没有备份记录或距上次成功备份／确认手动备份满 7 天时，解锁后提醒；每个库每次运行最多提醒一次，可关闭。成功更新固定备份，或检查后确认已有备份未变化且仍是最新，会记录确认日期。“我已离线备份”只记录用户人工确认，不核验手工副本。失败、取消或跳过不刷新日期。位置及自动成功记录保存在外接盘 .privacycut-private 的设置中；删除运行目录会重置这部分记录，需要重选位置，已有备份不删除。不同工作副本分别配置。提醒不是防删组件，不能拦截资源管理器删除整个库。恢复密钥仍需独立保管。

Exit first, copy the complete fixed latest .pvv backup to an independent working vault at the root of the bound USB workspace, then select it and unlock with the original password for that backup. Do not overwrite an existing vault or edit your only archive. Keep all internal encrypted files; .incomplete and .previous are not complete working vaults. After an interrupted update, retain update directories and .update.json, reconnect the original backup USB and retry recovery/finalization. Changed files are copy-verified; unchanged media are reused through size/time checks, not a new full-media verification scan, so storage damage remains a concern. The fixed backup holds the latest completed state. Later successful updates reflect changes/deletions and do not supply version history; retain separate historical copies when needed. Changing current credentials does not revoke independent older backups and their old credentials. Recovery keys cannot reconstruct a missing vault. Cross-PC use still requires compatible NTFS permissions and may require selecting the target again. 先退出软件，将完整的固定最新 .pvv 备份复制为绑定外接盘工作区根目录下的独立工作库，再选择此工作副本，用该备份对应的原密码打开。不要覆盖已有库，也不要直接编辑唯一备份。保留整个目录及内部加密文件；不要把 .incomplete 或 .previous 当作完整工作库。中断更新时保留更新目录和 .update.json，接回原备份盘重试，使软件恢复／完成事务。变化文件复制后逐文件校验；未变化素材通过长度／时间快检复用，不等于每次重新验证全部介质，仍需防范磁盘损坏。固定备份只保留最近完成的状态，删除或修改也会在后续成功更新中反映，不提供版本历史；重要历史应另行保留独立副本。旧独立备份及其旧凭证不会被更换当前密码自动撤销。恢复密钥不能重建丢失的库。跨电脑仍需兼容 NTFS 账户权限和重新选择目标；

Record the offline recovery key when creating the vault. With the complete vault available, it can reset a forgotten password. There is no cloud recovery or support backdoor. A recovery key is not a file backup and cannot recreate deleted, missing or damaged content. Losing both password and key may make access impossible. Never send either to this help assistant or another person.创建库时独立记录离线恢复密钥。保留完整保险库后，可用它重设忘记的密码；没有云端找回和客服后门。恢复密钥不代替库文件备份，也不能重建删除、丢失或损坏的素材。密码与恢复密钥都丢失可能导致永久无法访问。不要把密码或恢复密钥发给客服机器人或其他人。

Select or create a vault at startup. After unlocking, PrivacyCut shows its original standby page with the current vault, location, Switch vault and Manage vault media. Create an editing project with a project name, then enter the editor; no second vault is created. Registered projects already in the current vault open directly. Older outside projects use migration. In an editing project, click Import to choose current-vault media or switch to importing outside files. The PrivacyCut picker provides All, Video, Photos and Audio filters with counts; Fonts appears when eligible local fonts exist. Types follow editor-supported formats, and name search combines with the active type. Keep multiple selections across filters within this dialog, see the selected count, or use Clear selection. Cancel leaves the edit unchanged. Adding vault media reuses existing encrypted objects without creating duplicate vault copies. Outside files must still be on the bound USB and are encrypted into the current vault while originals remain. Add photos, video or audio to the timeline. Select an item and use the common icon tools above the timeline; hover for tooltips. Trim duration, split at the playhead, reorder or insert clips. The right inspector changes to video, audio or text properties for the selected item. Timeline clips use a first-frame thumbnail with a fixed color body; source preview keeps the original aspect ratio.将照片、视频或音频加入时间线，选中片段后使用时间线上方的常用图标工具，鼠标悬停可看功能。可调整片段时长、在播放头分割、移动顺序和插入片段；画面、声音、字幕的详细属性随选择显示在右侧。时间线片段以首帧加固定色底展示，素材可单独预览并保持原始横竖比例。

Select a video/photo and use crop, scale, position and rotation in the right picture inspector. Sliders provide quick adjustments, with numeric entry for precision. Picture cropping changes the visible area; trimming removes time at the start/end. Crop unwanted private areas out of the picture and check each section before saving/exporting.选中视频或照片，在右侧画面属性中使用裁切、缩放、位置和旋转；滑杆可快速调整，需要精确值时再输入。画面裁切改变保留的可见区域，与裁掉片段开头结尾的时间裁剪不同。可用裁切把画面边缘的隐私区域排除；保存、导出前逐段预览确认。

Open Transitions and drop one onto the seam between two adjacent main-track clips. Select the seam transition to adjust duration or replace it. Do not drop it in the media bin or the center of a clip. Ensure adjacent clips have enough duration and preview around the seam. Select a clip and use the picture animation/keyframe controls in the right inspector. Move the playhead, set position/scale/rotation and add a keyframe; set another time for the change. Start/end framing is part of the same keyframe workflow. Toolbar access points lead to the same editing area rather than separate parameter sets. Preview the motion and crop edges.选中片段后，从右侧画面动画/关键帧编辑入口设置。把播放头放到目标时间，调整画面位置、缩放或旋转并添加关键帧，再到另一个时间设置变化。起止画面属于同一套关键帧工作方式；工具栏入口应定位到相同编辑区，不需要维护两组互不关联的参数。逐段播放检查运动和裁切边缘。

Select a clip, then adjust color/effects in its right-hand properties. Common controls such as brightness, contrast and saturation offer sliders and values. Selecting audio or captions displays their own properties. Check both preview and output. This is not a professional grading suite or a cloud enhancement service.先选中片段，再在右侧相应属性页调整调色和效果。常用亮度、对比度、饱和度等可通过滑杆与数值设置；音频和字幕选中后显示各自属性。效果以预览和导出结果为准；并非专业调色软件或云端自动增强服务。

Add captions/text manually, import local subtitle files and set font/style. Fonts come from locally installed fonts, without an online font atlas. Import your own local music. This build has no cloud AI, automatic speech-to-caption service or stock-media library. You are responsible for rights to your fonts and music.可手动添加字幕和文字，导入本地字幕文件，设置字体及样式。字体来自本机已安装字体，不联网下载字体图集。音乐需导入用户自己的本地音频。本版不提供云端 AI、自动语音转字幕或内置素材库。字体及音乐的使用授权由用户自行确认。

Use manual picture cropping, solid covers, pixelation or privacy stickers. Check coverage throughout movement and adjust position over time when needed. There is no automatic face recognition, cloud analysis or automatic tracking. Pixelation is not a universal irreversibility guarantee; crop out or fully cover highly sensitive content and review the output.可选裁切画面、实心遮挡、像素化或隐私贴纸等手动处理方式。检查敏感区域在整段运动中是否始终被覆盖，必要时随时间调整位置。当前不提供自动人脸识别、云端分析或自动追踪。像素化不应被视为对任意内容都不可恢复的保证；高敏感信息优先裁掉或完全实心覆盖，并复查成片。

After choosing a vault and naming an edit, the project is automatically created and saved encrypted in that vault. Its path and status are visible; subsequent changes autosave without an initial Save As. Wait for saving before switching vaults, locking or exiting. Unfinished projects appear in Private edits. A project file alone is not a media backup; keep the external drive connected while working.选择当前库并新建工程后，按工程名自动加密保存到该库，界面显示保存位置和状态；后续自动保存，不必第一次另存。切换库、锁定或退出前等待保存结束。未完成工程在“私密剪辑”中管理。不要把工程文件单独当作全部素材备份，也不要在操作中拔掉外接盘。

PrivacyCut defaults to encrypted finished output in the current vault. You may explicitly choose a normal plaintext file outside vaults on the bound USB, complete the privacy review and confirm its location. Plaintext cannot be saved to the internal drive or an unprotected location inside a vault. Outside plaintext outputs are not vault-encrypted. Current target: up to 1080p and 1 GB per editing export, subject to local codec support.PrivacyCut 默认把成片加密保存到当前库。导出时可明确选择绑定外接盘上库外的普通明文文件，需完成隐私检查并确认目标位置。不能把明文成片保存到本机内部盘或库内未保护的位置。库外明文成片不再由库加密保护。当前优先支持最高 1080p，单次剪辑输出上限 1 GB；编码取决于本地支持。
